The Coach Bobby Memorial Game & Potluck

On Saturday afternoon, July 8th, at Valley Ice Arena over 500 people gathered to honor Bobby and his family by playing and watching the 1st Annual Bobby Freeland Memorial game(s). Three games were held back to back to back for the delight of spectators and to raise donations for the Freeland fund and Educational fund.
The event was second to none - with food, friends and some good hockey being played -- and donations were wonderful for the benefit of the family and future educational needs.
Northwest Skate Authority donated the game jerseys and the screen printing. Friends and family would like to recognize NSA for their contribution. NSA is our leading hockey gear provider here in Portland. Visit them at Sherwood Ice Arena or, online at: http://www.sherwoodicearena.com/proshop.html.
NOTE: Donations made with a credit or debit card for the Bobby Freeland Memorial Game were processed by the Portland Jr. Hawks and Mexico Unlimited as they donated the credit card processing services for the event. One of these two organizations will appear on your credit card statement for your donation. Visit them at http://www.portlandjrhawks.org or http://www.mexicounlimited.com -- thanks to both.
